Originally from Kyiv, Anna has an extensive experience with youth volunteerism, in particular short- and long-term international exchanges, peace promotion initiatives, networking and partnership building. After having graduated from the Ukrainian State Teachers Training University, she served as a Long-Term Volunteer in the German office of International volunteer-involving organisation, where her main task was to consult and place German youngsters going on volunteers project abroad. Two years later, Anna started her another 1,5 year volunteer service at the office of SCI East-West Working Group in Poland. During that time, she gained various knowledge and skills in organisational and project management, youth initiatives of European bodies (such as EC and CE), youth empowerment etc.

Anna came back to Ukraine in 2005 and since April 2006 is occupying current position with UNV office in Ukraine, where she provides administrative and operational support to already serving UNV volunteers, as well as coordinate recruitment of Ukrainian nationals taking on their UNV assignment abroad.
