Volunteer in Ukraine The National UN Volunteer Scheme offers opportunities for nationals to serve in their own countries.
UN Volunteers support capacity building in their home countries. They facilitate networking and mobilize local volunteer efforts. They play active roles as interface between local communities and international organisations. UNV is working with governments in developing countries and economies in transition to set-up national volunteering programmes; strengthen the capacities of existing volunteer involving organisations and volunteer networks; put in place enabling fiscal and legislative frameworks; and integrate volunteerism into national development planning. National Volunteer posts are advertised at the local level, on the UN vacancy website and on various newspapers. UN Volunteers recruited nationally should have at least three years of professional experience. They offer expertise in administration, agriculture, communication, community development, commerce, education, engineering, environment, health, information communication technology and social sciences.Check vacancies available at the moment. |
