The World is Getting More Open by Natalia Gozak
In September 2009, the National UNV volunteers Natalia Gozak and Yevgen Chepiga traveled to the USA for the Open World Professional Exchange Programme. During their 10-day presence, they visited Washington, attended an introductory session at the Congress of the United States of America, and met with representatives from government, international non-governmental organisations, and charitable funds. They also spent a week in Wisconsin, where they learned about their colleagues' experiences of working with children and youth. Read

Youth social inclusion project presented in Ukraine
The implementation of the 'Youth Social Inclusion for Civic Engagement' project has started at the regional level in Ukraine. The project was launched in September 2008 with the overall objective of supporting youth social inclusion and civic engagement.
The project will develop key social competencies, which are needed for proactive youth involvement in society and decision-making processes, thus providing support to further enhancement of the Government's youth policy in Ukraine.
